Welcome to Nook and Nestled! These Terms and Conditions outline the policies and expectations for our porch decorating services. By booking with us, you agree to the terms set forth below. These policies are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and a seamless experience for both parties. Please read carefully and reach out with any questions prior to booking.
1. Payment Terms

Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your installation date.

Payment options include paying in full or a payment plan, as outlined during the booking process.

If choosing to pay in installments, the total anount will be due on or before the time of instalation.

Cancellation Policy:

For cancellations made two weeks or more prior to the scheduled installation, a full refund will be provided.

For cancellations made 48 hours prior to a Christmas installation, a 50% refund will be provided.
-
Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to installation are non-refundable.

Rescheduling requests may be subject to a fee, to be determined based on the circumstances.
2. Liability & Damages
Nook and Nestled takes great care during the installation process to ensure your property is protected. However, by booking our services, customers agree to the following:

Customer Responsibility: The customer acknowledges that minor wear and tear or accidental contact with property may occur during the installation process and accepts this as an inherent risk of the service.

Limitations of Liability: Nook and Nestled is not liable for:
-
Pre-existing damage to the property.
-
Damage resulting from weather, animals, or customer handling of the decor after installation.

Normal wear and tear caused by outdoor decor or installations.

Gross Negligence or Major Damage: In the unlikely event of significant damage directly caused by gross negligence on the part of Nook and Nestled (e.g., dropping a heavy item that causes a major scratch), we will work with the customer to repair or resolve the issue up to the cost of the service provided. Customers must notify Nook and Nestled of such damages within 48 hours of the installation.
3. Ownership of Decor

All Christmas decor is rented, unless the customer chooses to purchase specific items:

Items can be purchased at full price with a 10% discount if requested during or after installation.

An inventory sheet will be completed at the time of installation and checked during removal. Missing or damaged items will be charged at full replacement cost.

Pumpkin installations include all decor (pumpkins, hay, flowers, etc.), which is the customer’s to keep and does not require inventory tracking.
4. Service Area

Our services are available within a 20-mile radius of downtown Berlin with no additional travel fees.
-
For locations beyond the 20-mile radius, a $25 fee per 10 miles will be added to the total cost of the service.
5. Customer Preferences & Approvals

Pumpkin Installations: Designs are curated entirely by Nook and Nestled with full creative control. Customers will not preview or approve designs in advance.

Christmas Installations: Customers will collaborate with us to define key details, such as color themes and specific preferences. Once these are discussed, full creative control is given to Nook and Nestled to execute the design. Changes or revisions after installation will not be permitted unless otherwise agreed upon.
6. Photography & Marketing

Nook and Nestled reserves the right to photograph completed porch designs for use on social media and marketing materials.

Privacy Policy:

House numbers and identifiable details will not be included in photos.

Customers with privacy concerns can request that only close-up photos of the decor be used to limit exposure of their home.

7. Seasonal Takedown

Pumpkin Installations:
-
Removal services are available for an additional fee based on the size of the package purchased.
-
Removal requests must be made before the specified cutoff date, and customers are responsible for removing any rotting pumpkins or organic decor to avoid delays.

Removed pumpkins will be donated to local farms for animal feed.

Christmas Installations:
-
All decor provided is rented and will be removed by Nook and Nestled free of charge unless the customer chooses to purchase the items.

Purchased items are the responsibility of the customer for takedown and storage.

8. Weather & Outdoor Conditions
While our decor is chosen for its durability, weather and outdoor conditions can impact the longevity of certain items. Customers are encouraged to monitor outdoor displays and take precautions during extreme weather, such as high winds, heavy rain, or snow.
9. Refunds & Disputes
Refunds outside of the cancellation policy will not be issued once installation has been completed. If a customer is dissatisfied with the service, they are encouraged to contact us immediately to discuss concerns. Our goal is to ensure every customer is delighted with their porch design.
10. Limitation of Liability
Nook and Nestled is not responsible for:

Damages caused by weather, animals, or misuse of decor.

Any accidents or injuries related to decor after installation.
-
Delays due to unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather or supply chain issues.
